Summary: Design, develop, implement and maintain complex business, accounting, and management information systems. Responsible for requirement gathering, analysis, functional testing, and delivery management. Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Day-to-day Job duties:
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to understand and define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals.
- Develop and create custom applications in JCS and integrate with Oracle Fusion Applications.
- Create BI Publisher Reports and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) report.
- Perform Oracle Fusion Cloud Security Key Functions.
- Advise user departments about functional design and impact on departmental operations.
- Work with Architects and implement cloud database infrastructure following best practices and industry standards utilizing AWS cloud technologies & services.
- Design and engineer cloud database capabilities and features to ensure smooth implementation.
- Oracle HCM Cloud development of fast formulas, building and loading conversion HDLs, integrations, reports development for the developer’s team to build inbound and outbound interfaces.
- Work with WMS systems drawing upon knowledge of the interaction between WMS applications with Oracle eBS Financials, Procurement, Manufacturing, ASCP, and Logistics Applications.
- Develop PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets in Oracle 12C.
- Perform Oracle database management activities including space management, schema import/exports, Oracle scheduler job management, database backups, database security issues, and transaction management.
- Coordinate the marketing roadmap between the full site and mobile applications to improve quality, consistency and user satisfaction.
- Control and maintain budget, report on expenditure.
- Evaluate existing applications to determine technical changes and schedule projects, resources, and monitor project timelines.
- Utilize Bulk Collections for better performance and easy retrieval of data, by reducing context switching between SQL and PL/SQL engines.
- Identify areas for modification in existing ERP and subsequently develop/implement these modifications.
- Determine lack of performance in existing applications, diagnose performance and other issues using different tools and designing solutions to optimize performance.
- Perform data migration from different database platforms to Oracle Cloud DBMS and performance tuning of data.
- Define and implement access controls to the data.
- Work with business owners/operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve issues and bugs, and design solutions to ensure products meet business needs.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related IT/engineering discipline, 3-5 years of experience in job offered or: related business/systems analysis and design occupation utilizing suite of Oracle business applications.
